Set Goals for yourself which are strictly "personal goals ", which need to be set as per the "common template". In short, you don't have a personal choice to set your "personal goals"!
At the time of Review :
You have not completed your "personal goals" which are quite "common" across the company. Although this situation is "quite common" across your company, your "personal" experience of getting them "reviewed" is not "common" in most of the cases. If you can't stand by the words like "proactive", "quality", "reusable components", "best practices", "Compliance" and many more words like this Or everytime someone speaks about "GoalSHIT" (its not a spelling mistake), you get scared, YOU should NEVER argue with anybody! Your review is one of the best opportunity to increase your patience level by hearing all the words by a gap of min 30 secs.
